The Supply Chain in the IB group takes into account world market conditions and the technical requirements of our products, concentrating on:

The above requirements and their rapid implementation form the basis of our business and influence the activity of each individual member of the IB Supply Chain.
 
  Objectives
 

Cost Objectives

  • Continual reduction of initial prices with at least the same level of quality. We expect our suppliers to review costs continually, to examine internal procedures and structures, and to be able to offer their products at the best possible price.
  • World Market cost levels. IB offers its products on the basis of world market prices. Our suppliers must be prepared to accept this cost level.
  • Forcing Electronic Procurement. In order to reduce costs in the Supply Chain process we will use electronic procurement systems to an increasing extent. Our suppliers can obtain a competitive advantage by participating in these procurement systems.
 

Quality Objectives

  • Quality Management. Suppliers are responsible for the quality of their supplies and services. In order to maintain and improve the high level of quality for our customers we expect an effective quality management system from our suppliers.
  • Continual Improvement. As far as IB Supply Chain Management is concerned to stand still is to step backwards. We are constantly improving the quality of our processes.
  • Staff Development. The international aspect of our Supply Chain activities and the demands on IB’s Supply Chain team are increasing. We take this development into account by providing our Supply Chain Management team ongoing training in the technical and commercial aspects of Sourcing, Materials Management and Procurement.
