This system is designed to supply a nominal voltage of 51.2 VDC at a nominal capacity of 320Ah, providing system energy of 16.4 kWh. The structure is built around 32 160Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery cells. There are a total of 2 parallel strings in series with 8 cells in each module. The battery modules are mounted into a 19” rack mount, a total of 4 rack mounts are used.
The system also includes a BMS (battery management system) that is used for charging, isolation, and monitoring of the complete battery bank. The BMS also provides a communication port (Ethernet, DB9 connector or RS232) for communication with customer equipment. Example information that the BMS supplies thru the communication port are:
Individual cell voltage
State of charge (SOC)
State of health (SOH)
Depth of discharge (DOD)
Cell Temperatures
Cell (s) isolated
Cell isolated override
Charging required
Charging complete
Fault codes
Total bank voltage
Customized BMS features can also be accommodated.
All of our systems and BMS come with a comprehensive user’s guide.
